Chardonnay seems to have a bad rap these days – just like today’s politics with extreme sides of “love” and “hate”. We are lovers of Chardonnay for its versatility and character, and Rchardonnay is our point of view for what makes a great Chardonnay.  Bold, balanced, bright and luscious, with fresh apple, peach, and the right toasty touch of oak that’s integrated and balanced, without feeling like you are chewing on an oak barrel.

Our grapes are harvested from top quality California AVA Sonoma Coast & Sonoma County vineyards for diversity of fruit.  We ferment at low temperatures for lush creaminess with full malolactic and bi-monthly stirring.  Aged in a unique blend of American oak barrels for structure, with partial stainless steel for freshness.  We nurture the wine in stainless steel VATs for a year before bottling for more added fresh fruit character.  Cheers to you, oh noble Chardonnay!
